A former MI6 headquarters building in Westminster has been brought to market.

Knight Frank is marketing 21 Queen Anne’s Gate, a 5,031 sq ft Grade I Listed freehold offering newly refurbished turnkey office accommodation, on behalf of private investor vendor Queen's Gate Ltd.

21 Queen Anne’s Gate is a town house built in 1706 which has been home to individuals ranging from gentry, to aristocracy and artists. Between 1926 and 1964 the building was used as the headquarters of the MI6 and housed early code breaker activities before they relocated to Bletchley Park.

Tim Mantle, Central London Capital Markets, Knight Frank, said: “This is an incredible opportunity to purchase an historical building in the heart of Westminster, one of London’s most sought-after locations. 21 Queen Anne’s Gate offers contemporary office accommodation behind an elegant period façade, providing the opportunity for investors to acquire a unique freehold. It is by far the more comprehensive and highest quality office refurbishment in the vicinity.”
